 G-SHOCK LAUNCHES THE COLLABORATIVE NIGEL SYLVESTER SIGNATURE GD100NS-7 TIMEPIECE

Following on the heels of their announcement of pro BMX street rider Nigel Sylvester joining Casio as an official G-Shock team rider, G-Shock is proud to release Nigel Sylvester’s Signature timepiece, the GD100NS-7. The collaborative timepiece infuses Nigel’s street style with G-Shock’s toughness to compliment and withstand his riding needs.

“When I’m out riding my bike I need a timepiece that compliments me” says Nigel Sylvester. “G-Shock watches perform well under the extreme conditions in which I ride and look good when I’m just chilling off my bike as well.”

 The stark white band and contrasting black face features the BMX pro’s signature emblazoned in red. Keeping true to Nigel’s need for a tough and durable watch that can also be worn as a fashion accessory, the GD100NS-7 is Shock Resistant and 200M Water Resistant.

In addition, the timepiece is fitted with rugged capabilities; shock resistance, 200M water resistance, auto LED (super illuminator) with flash alert, 48-City World Time, 5 independent alarms , 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, 7 year battery and 12/24 Hour formats.  並不是要一直很嚴肅地談些影響世界的大事，不過，如果我們每個人身上都懷抱著要一起讓這世界更美好的使命的話，這世界一定更加和諧，是嗎？其實，設計師們就是天生懷有這樣熱血目標的族群，所以今天就來看一個既實用又有深刻提醒的科技概念杯吧！

由設計師Young-Suk Kim設計的Steam Mug蒸氣杯，就是一個由嚴肅議題而衍伸出來的設計。通常，馬克杯裡隔夜的水，你應該都不會喝，只是將它倒掉吧...就是這麼一個隨手一倒的動作，其實， 我們就已經消耗了非常多資源，可能你不這樣認為，但是試想若地球上六十億人，每個人每天都倒掉半杯水的話，這可是天文數字，你說是嗎？所以設計師就想到了 要將你剩下來不喝、或忘記喝的水，給妥善利用的方式，請給他拍拍手，鼓勵一下。

 Steam Mug的使用方式很簡單，其實它就是一個馬克杯，平常的時候，你可以用來盛熱水、裝咖啡，但如果你喝到一個階段喝不下了，就可以將Steam Mug放到與它搭配的盤子上，並將盤子上的USB接頭給接到電腦上，透過USB供電的方式，能將Steam Mug杯中的水給以蒸氣的方式揮發出來，讓常常待在冷氣房的我們，就像多了個加濕器，杯子中所剩下的水也不會浪費，這樣一舉兩得的方式，真的是太令人感動 了。（不過如果要加熱的話，應該裡頭還是單純的盛水比較好，如果杯子裏頭剩下的是半杯咖啡，這蒸氣可能初期聞起來很香，後來可能就會沾鍋了...）

Gucci x Medicom Toy 90th Anniversary Bearbrick 400%

 

In celebrating the 90th anniversary of Gucci, its Japanese operation invited 90 creatives from Japan and around the world to explain their first encounter with Gucci and its products. As part of the campaign Tatsuhiko Akashi from Medicom Toy was among the 90 selected and his response to the brief is rather unique. Interestingly Akashi went one step further by producing a one of Gucci BE@RBRICK in 400% size. Sadly there are no information on the release but fans can only hope for the good news. The all black figure is detailed with the famous gold double G logo on the stomach and Gucci logo on the face.

COMME des GARÇONS EDITED HAKAIDER Limited Tee

 

Mechanical Violator Hakaider (人造人間ハカイダー, Jinzō Ningen Hakaidā^?), is a Japanese tokusatsu film starring Hakaider, Kikaider's deadly rival and anti hero.

Mechanical Violator Hakaider was released in Japan on April 15, 1995. It was produced by Bandai/Toei and directed by Keita Amemiya. The title character was, of course, from the original Kikaider series.
